We are looking for a Prospect Management Specialist to join our ambitious Prospect Management and Business Intelligence team on a 5 month secondment. This position is a great opportunity for a bright and talented individual to gain new skills in prospect information, pool management, and portfolio analysis to help advance fundraising activity at Cambridge.
You will identify opportunities to strengthen portfolios, maintain balanced prospect pools, facilitate a healthy gift pipeline and provide advice on prospect strategies and assignments. Your work will make a significant contribution towards our success by improving the quality and quantity of prospects within each programme’s pool and portfolio.
You will act as a technical expert on all areas of prospect information management, including portfolio and pipeline management, partnering with fundraisers to maximise philanthropic income. A big part of this role is building relationships and you will be expected to develop consultative partnerships with fundraisers to support them in their work.
Applicants should have strong Excel skills, good working knowledge of a CRM system (eg. Amicus), experience using a data discovery tool (eg. Advizor), be able to communicate complex information (both qualitative and quantitative) concisely and have the ability work well under pressure. Prior experience working with complex data sets and infographics would be desirable. The ability to interact confidently with colleagues at all levels is essential.
This role is based in central Cambridge, however we practise a hybrid working model and the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office for a minimum of one day a week. This can be discussed at interview.
